The National Toxicology Information Centre (NTIC) of UNB Bratislava provides telephone consultations to physicians for acute intoxications with drugs, chemicals, industrial preparations, fungi, plants, drugs and animal toxins. It provides information on the composition, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicity and symptoms in poisoning with individual noxes and at the same time recommends appropriate therapy. It provides information for physicians, other health professionals and the general public.
